Swept Away

2012 is off to a great start. I've spent the past 8 days with my two friends, Elise & Hannah, in the Bahamas doing nothing but relaxing. We basked in the sun, jumped in the waves, sipped Pina Coladas, swung in hammocks, snorkeled in the ocean, forgot about time, watched the sunset, played in the sand, ate conch fritters, made sand castles, and gazed at the stars. The week blurred into one long day that never seemed to end. There's nothing better than a girls trip to the beach!

I'm wearing a hot pink chiffon dress (as a cover up) from BCBG on top of a white Victoria's Secret swim suit. I also added one of my favorite bracelets (which is turkish) that I found in L'artigiano in Fiera Milano, last time I was in Italy. I let my hair go au natural, accessorized with some aviator sunglasses, and wore a floppy hat for shade.

One of my favorite beauty products for the beach would be the Lush Body Bar. It's a solid lotion perfect to lather on your skin for extra moisture. Mine is called 'Glitter Bug' which has speckles of glitter that stick to your skin giving you a sparkling look in the sun!
